SOURCING FORCE TALENTS · BME CONSULTING
Working for a French client: prepare supplier onboarding and documents.
When a foreign freelancer works with a French client, the business entity, country of establishment and location of the work help determine which questions and documents need examination. Start with a clear assignment summary and the client’s purchasing requirements.
TALENTS PRACTICAL GUIDE
What should you present first?
Identify your selected service, the French client, the countries concerned and the timetable. BME examines international assignments subject to applicable EU sanctions and restrictions affecting the parties and transactions.
BME EXPERIENCE
Professional services already entrusted to BME.
01 · PREPARE YOUR DECISION
Distinguish establishment from the place where work is performed.
The country where your business is established may differ from the place where you perform the service. Describe both, including remote work and any proposed travel. Nationality alone does not describe the commercial or administrative situation. These details help the relevant parties identify the questions to resolve before preparing commitments and a start date.
An on-site assignment in France may require a specific examination of applicable formalities and the actual working arrangement. Commercial onboarding does not, by itself, provide work or residence permission. Prepare the relevant facts and seek the appropriate examination for your situation rather than treating a purchasing workflow as an automatic authorisation.

02 · PREPARE YOUR DECISION
Prepare documents for the actual provider and assignment.
Present the business entity, declared status, establishment country and document requests already received from the client. The French Service Public guidance distinguishes situations involving providers established abroad. The applicable evidence needs examination for the specific situation; a French Urssaf certificate is not a universal document that every foreign freelancer can automatically provide.
Vigilegal is integrated into Sourcing Force through an API for the document workflow of entrusted purchases. The public website does not access your private dossier or authenticate documents. Send a non-confidential summary initially. The team will explain which documents to prepare and how to transmit detailed material through the appropriate channel.

03 · PREPARE YOUR DECISION
Connect commercial terms with the client’s invoice requirements.
Identify the service amount, period and purchase references needed by the French client. Prepare questions about currency, expenses and tax treatment with the relevant advisers and parties. Relate these points to the agreement and the actual service. A common supplier relationship should retain the references that allow the client to approve and reconcile the purchase.
BME announces supplier referencing within 24 hours, separately from agreement approval and the effective start of work. Its administrative commission is 3–8% of the service amount, depending on volume and client conditions. There is no minimum or maximum number of assignments. Present the timetable and requirements to prepare the commercial proposal.
