SOURCING FORCE TALENTS · BME CONSULTING
Freelancer coordination fees. How to read BME’s 3–8% commission.
BME’s administrative commission is 3–8% of service value, depending on volume and client terms. Read the percentage alongside the agreed services, calculation base and invoicing conditions.
TALENTS PRACTICAL GUIDE
What does BME’s coordination fee describe?
The stated range is an administrative commission, not net salary or a social-contribution estimate. BME coordinates purchases involving freelancers already selected: supplier relationship, agreements, administrative follow-up and invoicing. A UK or US budget does not make that commercial rate a local tax or payroll charge. Compare the tasks actually included in the proposal.

Professional services already entrusted to BME.
01 · PREPARING YOUR DECISION
Start with the calculation base.
A percentage must be read with the value to which it applies. Identify the agreed service base, treatment of expenses and presentation of the commission in the proposal. This avoids comparing two rates applied to different amounts. BME’s range depends on volume and client conditions; the actual offer specifies the rate and relevant scope rather than applying one fixed percentage to every enquiry.
Pure arithmetic example: on a service base of 10,000 in one agreed currency, 3% is 300 and 8% is 800. This is not a quotation, a currency conversion or a statement of VAT or US sales-tax treatment. It does not establish expenses or payment dates. Those points must be reviewed in the proposed commercial conditions for the actual contracting parties.

02 · PREPARING YOUR DECISION
Compare included services before comparing the percentage.
Present the purchases to centralise, number of specialists and countries. Identify agreements, evidence and approvals to organise. A useful comparison considers the whole process rather than an isolated fee. A common supplier brings entrusted purchases together while retaining each assignment’s information, but it does not automatically transfer every legal or status responsibility.
Ask how order references, periods and approvals will appear on invoices. Identify who follows the service and who processes payment. This prepares a proposal understandable to the manager, Procurement and Finance. Where an alternative offer involves payroll, umbrella employment or contractor-of-record services, compare its actual responsibilities rather than treating the same percentage as the same product.

03 · PREPARING YOUR DECISION
Separate internal administration costs from BME’s commission.
The supplier calculator estimates internal creation and annual-maintenance costs from your volumes, tasks, time and loaded hourly costs. Its output is not the price of commercial coordination. Use it to discuss administrative work, then review the commission in the offer separately. A modeled cost is not a guaranteed saving or a benchmark measuring every business.
BME states onboarding within 24 hours with no minimum or maximum number of assignments. Supplier onboarding remains distinct from agreements, local reviews and approval to start. Prepare estimated value, timetable and requested process to open the discussion. All company sizes can enquire; acceptance and the actual rate still depend on the dossier and conditions agreed with the parties.
